Parker Nickerson

Parker Nickerson has a diverse work experience that showcases their skills in various fields. They started their professional career as a Medical Research Intern at Texas Children's Hospital, where they conducted a meta-analysis study on the Impact of Corticosteroids on Cardiopulmonary Bypass Induced Inflammation in Children. Additionally, they shadowed physicians in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU).

Parker then transitioned to the role of Lifeguard at the City of West University Place, where they gained experience in ensuring water safety. They eventually became the Head Lifeguard and also served as the Lead Lifeguard Skills Trainer.

In 2021, Parker joined UT Microbe Hackers as an Undergraduate Researcher and Teaching & Research Mentor. They contributed to ongoing research projects and mentored other students in their academic pursuits.

They also worked as a Retail Sales Associate at tasc Performance, where they gained customer service experience.

In 2022, Parker joined Texas Health Action as The KIND Clinic Testing & Outreach Intern, where they were involved in outreach initiatives and testing programs.

Their most recent work experience is as a Legislative Aide at the Texas House of Representatives, starting in 2023. As a Legislative Aide, Parker provides support to the representatives in their legislative duties.

Parker Nickerson attended Episcopal High School from 2016 to 2020. During this time, no degree or field of study is specified. Currently, Parker is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry at The University of Texas at Austin, expected to be completed in 2024.
