Jean-Sylvain Tshilumba Mukendi serves as Senior Adviser for Limited Editions at TASCHEN since January 2018, focusing on the strategic development of B2C and B2B commercial relations within the art market. Previously, Jean-Sylvain was a Sales/Gallery Associate at the TASCHEN flagship store in Brussels, handling day-to-day sales operations and customer relationship management. Concurrently, since February 2021, Jean-Sylvain has held the position of Project & Artistic Coordinator at the Association PICHA - Biennale de Lubumbashi, where efforts are concentrated on organizing events and engaging with local communities in the DRC. Earlier experience includes a research internship at the Prince Claus Fund, contributing to the "Prince Claus Fund 2013 Africa Call for Proposals" publication. Jean-Sylvain's academic background comprises a Master of Arts in Art History from Rhodes University and two degrees from Maastricht University, including a Master's in Liberal Arts and a Bachelor's in Arts.
