Adrienne Easton

Adrienne Easton has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Most recently, they worked as a Software Developer Engineer II at Tasso, Inc. starting in February 2022. Prior to that, they participated in the Microsoft Leap Apprenticeship Program in 2021, where they served as a Software Engineer. In this role, they focused on full-stack development in C#, improving usability and scalability in existing code, and writing robust unit tests.

Before their time at Microsoft, Adrienne worked at Versatackle as a Software Developer from October 2020 to August 2021. There, they utilized JavaScript and Ruby on Rails for full-stack development, with a focus on improving usability and accessibility for the Versatackle conferencing platform.

Adrienne's earlier experiences include working as a School Psychologist in various school districts, including Shoreline, Seattle, and La Mesa/Spring Valley. From August 2017 to August 2021, they led multidisciplinary evaluation team processes to assess special education qualifications and individualized needs. Adrienne conducted evaluations, composed documentation, and delivered findings to diverse audiences.

Additionally, Adrienne has teaching experience as a Lead Instructor, Assistant Instructor, and Teaching Assistant at Code Fellows. Adrienne provided software development instruction to students with varying backgrounds and skill levels, graded assignments, and offered individualized guidance. Adrienne also worked on software development projects, including the creation of an FMLA tracking app actively used by King County Metro.

Outside of the tech industry, Adrienne worked as a Triage Consultant at Beacon Health Options, conducting phone triage for counseling services through Military OneSource and providing support to service members and their families facing crises. Adrienne also had roles as a Singer/Holly Quartet member at Silverbells Carolers and as an Educational Specialist/Wellness Coach, administering learning disabilities testing and providing life coaching.

Earlier in their career, Adrienne held the position of Psychometrist at Western Washington Medical Group, where they administered neuropsychological tests and provided insights to inform diagnosis by neuropsychologists.

Adrienne Easton is a certified Full Stack Developer from Code Fellows, having completed the program in 2019. Prior to that, they obtained a Master's degree in Educational Psychology from Chapman University. Adrienne also holds a Bachelor's degree from UC San Diego, where they majored in Psychology with a minor in Visual Art. Additionally, Adrienne has a certification in Ayurvedic Medicine/Ayurveda from AYU Academy. In terms of additional certifications, they have obtained certifications in Advanced Design Patterns: Design Principles, Agile Foundations, C# Test Driven Development, and Debugging in C# from LinkedIn in September 2021.
