Senior Manufacturing Engineer at Tasso

Kevin King has a diverse work experience spanning over 12 years. From 2008 to 2011, they worked as a Technician in Computer Services/OIT at Empire State College. In this role, they installed new computer systems, managed Active Directory reporting/programming, and provided end-user troubleshooting.

In 2012, Kevin joined GLOBALFOUNDRIES as a Process Engineer in Technology Development. Kevin worked in this position until 2013, when they transitioned to the role of Equipment Engineer II (Senior Equipment Engineer). During their time at GLOBALFOUNDRIES, Kevin demonstrated proficiency in project management, mechanical design, and leadership. Kevin led cross-functional teams, managed partnerships with OEM equipment vendors, and coordinated project scheduling. Additionally, Kevin played a key role in designing electromechanical systems, creating technical drawings, and establishing installation and qualification standards for new factory equipment. Kevin also led effective root cause analysis on equipment and line issues, recruited and mentored junior engineers, and optimized maintenance technicians' specialization and scheduling.

In 2018, Kevin moved to Echonous, where they worked as a Manufacturing Engineer III until 2020. At Echonous, they continued to enhance their manufacturing engineering skills. Finally, since September 2020, Kevin has been working as a Senior Manufacturing Engineer at Tasso, Inc.

Kevin King attended the University at Buffalo from 2007 to 2012, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering.
