Adrian Nevarez has a diverse work experience in the field of Human Resources. Adrian started their career as a Training Specialist at Red Robin in 2008. Later, they became a Business Owner at Velorio, LLC, where they managed the company from 2009 to 2019. In 2011, Adrian joined PCL Construction as a Human Resources and Professional Development Services Manager, overseeing workforce management and professional development. In 2015, they started their own consulting firm, Adrian Nevarez HR Consultant, where they provided HR consulting services and career coaching to small businesses. Adrian also worked as a Human Resources Instructor at California State University, Bakersfield in 2021. Currently, they serve as the Human Resources Director at Tasteful Selections LLC, leading the strategic direction of the HR function and managing a team of HR professionals. Additionally, they hold the positions of Vice President Human Resources at Tasteful Selections LLC.

Adrian Nevarez, MHR, SHRM-SCP, PHR-CA, has a diverse education history that reflects a strong focus on human resources and administration. Adrian obtained a Master of Science in Human Resources - Administration from California State University, Bakersfield, between 2017 and 2019. Prior to that, Adrian earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration Management with an emphasis on Human Resources from the same institution from 2008 to 2010. Adrian also holds Associate's Degrees in Sociology and Psychology, both obtained from Bakersfield College between 2003 and 2007.

In addition to the formal education, Adrian has actively pursued professional certifications. Adrian obtained the Professional in Human Resources® (PHR®) certification from the HR Certification Institute (HRCI) in July 2017. Adrian also received the Senior Professional in Human Resources - California® (SPHR-CA®) designation from HRCI in the same month. Moreover, Adrian holds the Society for Human Resources Management - Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification, granted by SHRM in February 2016.

Additionally, Adrian received the Workers Compensation Law Certificate from California State University, Bakersfield, in August 2014, and the Managing Human Resources Certificate from the same institution in August 2007.
