Kapil Tyagi

Kapil Tyagi has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Kapil is currently the Head of PD & Sourcing at TASVA | Aditya Birla Group x Tarun Tahiliani. Prior to this, they worked as a Consulting Specialist-Sourcing at Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Ltd. Kapil also served as the Director at Textile Clinic from 2020 to 2021. Before that, Kapil held the position of EVP & Head of RM Sourcing at BIBA Fashion Ltd.

In their earlier career, Kapil worked at Impulse International Pvt. Ltd, where they held various roles including Head-Technology & Sourcing for multiple divisions such as SIS, SGS, Tommy Bahama, E-Mart Korea, US & Korea Division, Asda@George Dunnes, Joules, Buffalo CA, HOF, Walmart Div, and Materials Sourcing Head for ESPRIT, Street One, Bonita, Fatface & EU Brands Division. Kapil also worked as a Sourcing Developer Lead at IKEA and as a Senior Manager Outsourcing at Maral Overseas Ltd.

Kapil's early career includes roles as Planning & Sourcing Manager at LNJ Bhilwara Group and Production & Planning Manager at Trident Group India. Kapil started their professional journey as a Management Trainee at PASUPATI SPINNING & WEAVING.

Kapil Tyagi has a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Textile Technology & Sciences from The Technological Institute of Textiles & Sciences, which they obtained from 1991 to 1995. Prior to that, they completed 10+2 from Central Board of Secondary Education in the PCMBE Science stream from 1988 to 1990. Kapil also attended Maharshi Dayanand University from 1991 to 1995, where they studied Textiles Technology & Sciences. In addition, Kapil Tyagi completed a Bachelor's degree in Physics honours from the University of Delhi from 1990 to 1991. Kapil attended Navyug School Delhi from 1984 to 1990. Furthermore, they obtained an Associate Diploma in Export Management from IIEM Bangalore in 1998. Kapil Tyagi has also acquired several certifications, including Negotiation Skills from Aditya Birla Group Leadership Programs, Analyzing and Visualizing Data with Microsoft Excel from Microsoft, and various auditing certifications related to fabric, color testing, and compliance.
