Amitabh Mathur

Amitabh Mathur has a diverse work experience in the travel and insurance industries. Amitabh started their career at the International Air Transport Association (IATA), where they served as a Customer Service Officer for Northern India. During their time there, they worked with IATA travel agents and organized various training programs.

After their stint at IATA, Amitabh joined Worldspan as an Assistant Manager before moving on to GMG Airlines, where they served as the Manager for the Northern India region. Their responsibilities included sales, administration, liaison, and airport operations.

Amitabh then joined Cholamandalam MS General Insurance Company as a Business Development Manager, where they focused on expanding the company's insurance business.

Amitabh later joined Nijhawan Travel Service GSA Sama Airline and Fly Dubai as the Head for Northern India. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing operations and sales activities.

Amitabh then joined Spicejet Airlines as the Manager for International Sales and Distribution. Their key responsibilities included sales, marketing, and servicing GSA's outside of India.

Amitabh joined Tata AIG General Insurance Company Limited as the Zonal Manager for Travel Insurance in North India. During their tenure, they were responsible for sales, marketing, cross-selling, and managing travel insurance products.

After a brief period as the Senior Manager of Airline Relations at Fursan Travel, where they focused on maintaining relationships with airlines and negotiating commercial agreements, Amitabh returned to Tata AIG General Insurance Company Limited as the Regional Sales Manager for the Travel division. In this role, they played a key role in driving sales and managing the travel insurance business.

Currently, Amitabh holds the position of Deputy Vice President and Zonal Sales Manager at Tata AIG General Insurance Company Limited, where they oversee sales and manages the company's regional operations.

Amitabh Mathur obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Delhi University between the years 1994 and 1997.
