Pranay Shah

Pranay Shah has extensive work experience in the insurance industry. Pranay is currently serving as the Senior Vice President - Commercial Business at Tata AIG General Insurance Company Limited since February 2021. Prior to this, they held the position of Senior Vice President, Commercial lines underwriting at Bharti AXA General Insurance from August 2016 to February 2021. Pranay Shah also worked at ICICI Lombard, where they served in various roles including Vice President - Marine Underwriting & Claims from September 2012 to July 2016, Vice President - Product Development from April 2011 to August 2012, Vice President - Retail Health from November 2008 to March 2011, and Product Head - Property from November 2003 to March 2010. Before joining ICICI Lombard, they worked as a Manager at Bharat Petroleum (BPCL) from April 2002 to October 2003.

Pranay Shah completed their PGDBA in Finance and Systems from the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow in 2002. Pranay obtained their B.E. degree in Chemical Engineering from D.J. Sanghvi in 1999. Prior to that, they attended K.J. Somaiya from 1993 to 1995 for their Junior College education with a focus on Electronics. Their schooling was completed at M.D. Bhatia from 1982 to 1993. In addition, in 2005 they became a Fellow of the Insurance Institute of India, although the institution where they obtained this certification is not provided.
