Dyutiman Hazra

Dyutiman Hazra's work experience includes various roles in procurement and supply chain management. Since November 2018, they have been working as the Head of Procurement at Tata BlueScope Steel, where they are responsible for sourcing strategies, contract management, transportation contracts, and MRO. Prior to this, they held the position of SCM Head India at Essar Steel Processing and Distribution Facility from April 2013 to June 2014. Dyutiman also worked at Indian Explosives Limited, ORICA as a Distribution Manager from August 2009 to July 2010, where they managed finished goods distribution processes and drove the Sales & Operations planning process. From December 2001 to August 2009, they worked at Tata Ryerson Limited as a Senior Manager in Operations, where they managed plant operations for cold rolled and galvanized steel processing. Dyutiman Hazra started their career at Bhushan Steel & Strips Ltd. as a Junior Manager in PPC from August 1999 to November 2001.

Dyutiman Hazra completed their Primary education from D Sector Primary School between 1981 and 1985. Dyutiman then pursued their Secondary education in Science from A Zone Multipurpose Boys High School in Durgapur between 1970 and 1990. After completing Higher Secondary education in Science from Bidhan Chandra Institution in 1990, they attended Bengal Engineering College, Sibpur from 1993 to 1997 where they obtained a BE degree in Metallurgy. Additionally, they also studied at Bengal College of Engineering and Technology (BCET), Durgapur from 1993 to 1997, earning a Bachelor of Engineering - BE degree in Metallurgy. Finally, they attended the International Management Center in New Delhi from 1997 to 1999, where they obtained a PGDM degree in Marketing and IT.
