Kapil Dev Sharma

Kapil Dev Sharma has over 20 years of experience in the automotive industry, currently serving as Head of Maintenance for the assembly line at Tata Motors since May 2008. In this role, Kapil oversees assembly projects for Tata models such as Tiago, Tigor, and the EV shop. Previously, Kapil held positions as Project Manager and Operations Manager, where responsibilities included managing manufacturing setups and maintenance strategies for various vehicle lines, including the NANO. Prior to joining Tata Motors, Kapil worked at Delphi Automotive Systems in multiple roles, including Shift Incharge and Engineer, focusing on maintenance and breakdown management. Kapil began a career in maintenance engineering at Sandhar Auto Component and Yuken India, after earning a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from Dronacharaya Institute of Engineering.
