Dhruba Banerjee

Dhruba Banerjee has significant work experience in the field of Geographical Information System (GIS) and Energy Audit. Dhruba started their career at Tele Atlas in 1999 as a Software Engineer, and later became a Sr. Software Engineer and Module Leader. Dhruba then worked at Infotech Enterprises Ltd. as a System Analyst and Module Leader before joining HCL Technologies as an Associate Technical Manager in the GIS practice. Dhruba joined Tata Power-DDL in 2010 as an Assistant Manager in GIS, and subsequently held roles of Manager and Senior Manager in GIS. Currently, they are the Head of Department (Dy. General Manager) supervising the GIS and Energy Audit Group at Tata Power-DDL. Dhruba has also been involved in driving GIS technology roadmap and implementing geospatial solutions for Tata Power Odisha Utilities.

Dhruba Banerjee completed their Masters Diploma in Information Technology from TATA Unisys Ltd. from 1995 to 1999. Dhruba then pursued further education from 2010 to 2011 at the IIT Bombay - Shailesh J. Mehta School of Management, though the specific degree and field of study are not provided. Currently, they are attending the Indian Institute of Management, Indore, where they are pursuing a degree in Organizational Leadership known as ALDP, which is expected to be completed in 2022.
