Ajit Ranjan Pradhan is an accomplished Technologist in the Ferro Alloys Division at Tata Steel Limited, Jamshedpur, with over 8 years of experience in the ferro alloys industry. His expertise lies in Submerged Arc Furnace (SAF) operations, process optimization, and leading sustainability initiatives aimed at achieving net-zero carbon emissions by 2045. Ajit’s responsibilities include tracking quality and process parameters, conducting trials to improve key performance indicators, and working with cross-functional teams to enhance production efficiency.

He has previously held significant roles at Indian Metal and Ferro Alloys Ltd (IMFA) and Electrosteel Castings Limited, gaining comprehensive experience in furnace management, preventive maintenance, and safety practices. Ajit holds a B.Tech in Metallurgical Engineering from Biju Patnaik University of Technology, Odisha, and is proficient in data management using MS Excel, ERP, and SAP.
