Barun Kumar

Barun Kumar is an experienced data analytics professional with a significant tenure at Tata Metaliks since May 2012, currently serving as the Head of Data Analytics. In this role, Barun focuses on the identification and development of analytics use cases to enhance productivity and support effective decision-making. Previously, Barun held positions such as Senior Manager - Analytics, where responsibilities included driving data-led projects and implementing data architecture, and Digital Solution Architect, which involved designing digital solutions for business challenges. Earlier career experiences include managing continuous improvement projects as Deputy Manager and quality analysis as Assistant Manager, alongside roles at Kirloskar Ferrous Industries Limited and UTTAM VALUE STEELS LTD. Barun holds a Post Graduate Program in Business Analytics & Business Intelligence from Great Lakes Institute of Management, a PGDBA in Operations Management from Symbiosis Centre for Distance Learning, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from S T J Institute of Technology.
