Ravinandan Thakur

Ravinandan Thakur has over a decade of extensive experience in the steel industry, currently serving as the Sr. Divisional Head for the CSI & Pellet plant at Tata Steel Long Products Limited since July 2012. In this role, Ravinandan leads a dedicated team in the Iron Making division, overseeing safe and sustainable operations and maintenance of critical facilities including the Blast Furnace and Coke Ovens. Previous positions include Head of Operations for Coal and Coke Iron Making, Sr. Manager for Coke Ovens Operations, and Sr. Manager for Capital Planning, showcasing expertise in resource management, production targets, quality assurance, and technical governance. Ravinandan began a career in Tata Steel as a Management Trainee after obtaining a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology.
