Ujjwal Kumar

Ujjwal Kumar has over 14 years of work experience in procurement, supply chain management, and warehouse management. Ujjwal started their career as a Graduate Engineering Trainee at JSW Steel in 2006. Ujjwal then worked as a Junior Manager at JSW Steel from August 2007 to July 2009. Ujjwal then joined JSW Steel Ltd as an Assistant Manager, where they gained experience in various areas such as supply chain, purchasing, and inventory management. Ujjwal also worked with Oracle ERP and was involved in SAP implementation for MM, PM, and SCM modules. In 2012, Ujjwal joined Tata Steel as a Supply Chain Manager, responsible for stockyard and warehouse management. Ujjwal then progressed to the role of Senior Manager - Commodity Buy, where they handled group buy for Tata Group and project procurement. Currently, Ujjwal is heading the Project Procurement function as the Head of Project Procurement at Tata Steel.

Ujjwal Kumar completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Mechanical from Manipal Institute of Technology. Ujjwal then pursued a Diploma in International Purchase & Supply Chain Management from the Indian Institute of Material Management (ITC, WTO) between 2010 and 2012. Most recently, from 2018 to 2020, Ujjwal Kumar obtained a PGEXP Degree in Business Administration and Management, General from the Indian Institute of Management, Ranchi.
