Soraya J. serves as the Data Protection Officer at Tate since July 2023, overseeing privacy policies and training for 1500 employees and contractors across multiple Tate locations, while providing legal counsel on data protection contracts and safeguarding sensitive visitor data. Prior to Tate, Soraya worked as a Data Protection Consultant at Holland & Barrett, focusing on compliance with data privacy regulations, and at OneTrust, advising various clients on privacy training and regulatory compliance, achieving significant key performance indicators. Previous experience includes consulting roles at Cloudflare and internships at the European Investment Bank, McKinsey & Company, and the Ministerie van Buitenlandse Zaken. Soraya holds a Master of Arts in International Political Economy from King's College London and dual Bachelor's Degrees in International Relations and Spanish and Linguistics from Leiden University.
