Geordie Hayward

Geordie, whose family has been involved in the Tatnall community for several generations, is lucky enough to have in-laws with a deep Tatnall tradition as well. Geordie is most proud of Tatnall’s commitment to shaping balanced futures for students through a commitment to academics, the arts, and athletics. He is also a member of Tatnall’s Investment Committee.

Geordie has a bachelor’s degree in economics from Emory University and an MBA from the University of North Carolina. He works as a commercial real estate developer, and his wife Mimi works for the National Institutes of Health. They live with their two young sons in Bethesda, Maryland, and try to spend as much time as possible enjoying the outdoors.
