Arfan Ismail

Arfan Ismail, PhD, is currently a Senior Product Manager at Turnitin, where responsibilities include developing product strategy and roadmap by understanding customer experiences and needs. Arfan also serves as a Non-Executive Director at NCUK and a Governor at Star Academies. Previous roles include Product Manager for Data and Analytics at Education Software Solutions, Head of Product at Xtant Real, and Head of Digital at Blackpool and The Fylde College, recognized for educational excellence. With extensive experience in product management and development, Arfan has contributed to numerous organizations, including serving on the Board of Trustees at Cambridge Muslim College and consulting in various capacities. Arfan holds a PhD in Applied Linguistics from Newcastle University, along with an MA in the same field and a BA (Hons) in Economics from The University of Manchester.
