Alain Slak

Alain Slak has worked for several companies over the past decade. In 2011, they began as a Software Engineering Intern at Imprivata and held this role for three years. In 2014, they joined Imprivata again as a Senior Software Engineer in R&D, followed by a Software Engineer in R&D role. In 2019, Alain joined Tausight as a Software Architect, Agent Management & Deployment, and later as a Principal Software Engineer. As a Senior Software Engineer, Alain was responsible for maintaining the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of patient data to protect patient safety and an organization's reputation.

Alain Slak attended McGill University from 2009 to 2013, where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Electrical Engineering. In 2016, they obtained a certificate from MIT Professional Education for the course "Internet of Things: Roadmap to a Connected World". In 2017, they obtained certificates from Coursera for the courses "Machine Learning" and from Stanford University for the course "Advanced Computer Security". In 2018, they obtained certificates from Coursera for the course "Deep Learning" and from Udacity for the course "Deep Learning Nanodegree".
