Bas Buenen

Bas Buenen currently serves as an Ecoloog at TAUW Nederland since September 2023. Prior to this role, Bas was a Junior Quality Assurance Manager for the Benelux region at CWS Group from January 2022 to September 2023 and worked as an Onderzoeksmedewerker monitoring vectoren at the Nederlandse Voedsel- en Warenautoriteit (NVWA) in mid-2021. Bas's experience in the pharmaceutical field includes a position as a Senior radiofarmaceutisch laborant at GE Healthcare, where responsibilities involved the production of radio-pharmaceutical products for diagnosing and treating diseases, including a diagnostic tool for Parkinson's disease. Bas also has a background in education, having served as a biologie docent at Strabrecht College and performed various teaching internships. Bas holds a Bachelor in onderwijs in biology from Fontys Hogeschool Tilburg and has completed a propedeuse in Sociaal Pedagogische Hulpverlening at Avans University of Applied Sciences.
