Daan van Wieringen

Daan van Wieringen currently serves as the Safety Manager at Tauw Group, a position held since January 2010, where responsibilities include overseeing the Tauw Group Safety programme, publishing safety policies, and developing incident reporting tools. Daan also actively participates as a safety representative for Tauw Group within various industrial client safety teams and leads the group safety team across different countries. Additionally, Daan holds a position as an expert member in the Committee of Experts of the Safety Culture Ladder and has extensive experience in managing safety for projects related to the Dutch Ministry of Infrastructure and Environment, as well as several notable industrial projects. Daan's educational background includes degrees in Civil Engineering from the University of Haarlem and qualifications in Safety, Health, and Environment from Delft University of Technology.
