Ellen Norde currently serves as a Geohydrologist at TAUW Nederland since May 2022, focusing on groundwater modeling and analysis for various projects, including stream restoration and groundwater level forecasting. Prior to this role, Ellen worked as a Specialist at ADSE Consulting and Engineering, where responsibilities included leading an EU research project on aircraft icing simulation and conducting systems engineering analyses. Ellen also completed a PhD at the University of Twente, where research centered on developing a tool to predict ice accretion on jet engine components. Earlier experience includes a role as an Assistant Curriculum Developer at SLO, contributing to the development of a scientific secondary school subject. Ellen holds a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and Advanced Technology from the University of Twente, respectively, and completed pre-university education focused on Science and Nature.
