Jelmer de Jong is an ecologist currently working as an Adviseur ecologie at Tauw Nederland since February 2021, and also serves as a board member for Jong@TAUW. Previous experience includes internships focused on research at the Copernicus Institute of Sustainable Development and as a biology tutor at Lyceo. Jelmer has a solid academic foundation with a Master’s degree in environmental biology and a Bachelor’s degree in biology, both from Utrecht University. Additional experience includes serving as a Student Assistant for the BSc Biology program and engaging in various part-time roles while studying. Jelmer has also contributed to extracurricular activities as a member of the camp commission for TC de Uithof, where significant organizational responsibilities were undertaken.
