Jos Koopman

Jos Koopman is an experienced aquatic ecologist currently employed at Tauw Nederland since February 2022. Prior roles include serving as an aquatic ecologist and advisor at Waternet from June 2020 to July 2021 and engaging in internships focused on freshwater and marine ecology at the University of Amsterdam, conducting research on Lake Markermeer. Previous experience includes research analyst positions at UMC Utrecht in orthopaedics and oncology, emphasizing biodegradable constructs and innovative treatments for cancer. Jos Koopman holds a Master's degree in Ecology, Evolution, Systematics, and Population Biology from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, as well as a Bachelor of Applied Science in Biological and Medical Laboratory Research from HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht.
