Mirjam van der Plas is an experienced advisor specializing in sustainable environments, currently serving as Adviseur duurzame leefomgeving at TAUW Nederland since February 2018. Previously, Mirjam held the position of Adviseur ruimtelijke ontwikkeling at LRAU Advies + Daadkracht, focusing on urban futures, heritage, and recreational landscapes. With a background in academia, Mirjam was a Docent Sociale Geografie en Planologie at Utrecht University, where courses on urban issues and research methods were developed and taught. Additionally, Mirjam served as a Dutch language coach for refugees at COA and completed internships at Centrum Beeldende Kunst Rotterdam and Companen Advies BV.
