Taco Verkerk

Taco Verkerk has extensive experience in the field of spatial planning and project management. Currently serving as an advisor and process facilitator at Tauw since September 2011, Taco specializes in Best Value Procurement, risk management, and project control, alongside being a certified creative thinking trainer. Previous roles include risk manager and project advisor at Rijkswaterstaat, where responsibilities included managing risks and developing project plans. Taco also worked at the Ministry of Infrastructure and the Environment, contributing to planning for major infrastructure projects and conducting research on spatial and economic coherence. Early career experience includes advising and strategizing for Rijkswaterstaat and creating municipal zoning plans as a draftsman at Crotec. Taco holds an Ir degree in Urban Planning from Eindhoven University of Technology, completing studies in 2009.
