Chris Wells

Chris Wells serves as the Chief Technology Officer at Tavve since October 2023 and has held the position of Chief Executive Officer at DDX Automotive since November 2019. Previously, Chris led several companies as CEO, including XtremeCFM (September 2021 - August 2023), CT Performance (January 2021 - May 2023), Detroit Racing Engines (January 2022 - April 2023), and Synergy Motorsports (September 2021 - April 2023). Chris founded Nexcess and served as its CEO from October 2000 to July 2019. Additional experience includes serving as Vice President of Managed Application Development at Liquid Web (July 2019 - September 2020) and Programmer Analyst III at the University of Michigan (May 2001 - May 2002), focusing on educational Java applications. Chris began the professional career as a Software Development Intern at HP (January 1997 - October 1997). Academically, Chris holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Michigan.
