Ben Hale

Ben Hale has worked in the technology industry since 1991, starting as a Systems Engineer at Electronic Data Systems. Ben then moved on to Senior Consultant at Accenture in 1995, and Technical Project Manager and Developer at Thomson Reuters in 1996. From 1999 to 2004, they worked as Director of Engineering at iXL / Scient / SBI / Avenue A, and then at Razorfish from 2004 to 2005. From 2005 to 2017, they were Senior Director of Mobile & Web at Marriott International, Director of Solution Delivery at ATPCO from 2017 to 2018, and Sr. Vice President Engineering at GTL from 2018 to 2022. Currently, they are VP of Engineering at Tawkify.

Ben Hale obtained two Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degrees from Virginia Commonwealth University between 1985 and 1991, one in Management Information Systems and one in Sociology and Anthropology. In 2013, they obtained a Certified Scrum Master certification from the Scrum Alliance and in 2017 they obtained a NGINX Core certification from NGINX, Inc.
