Lena Brook

Vice President at Tawonga Jewish Community

Lena Brook is the Director of Food Campaigns at the Natural Resources Defense Council, (NRDC), a leading environmental organization that works to ensure the rights of all people to clean air, clean water, and healthy communities. Through her advocacy, Lena aims to create a sustainable, equitable and healthy food system for all. Her daughters, who are also passionate about food, are dedicated Tawongans that feel most connected to camp when singing along to Tawonga tunes.

Lena holds a bachelor’s degree in anthropology from the University of California, Berkeley and a master’s in environmental studies from the Yale School of the Environment.
