In Silicon Valley's Tax Departments, an acronym soup of initiatives by US and foreign governments crash into companies'​ evolving business models crossing borders.  US Tax Reform.  BEPS.  CCCTB.  DPT.  The IRS, OECD, and EC, among many governmental and non-governmental agencies, are reshaping the corporate tax landscape for cross-border activities more quickly and broadly, than seen before.  We focus on education and advocacy for tax practitioners, new and seasoned, in this dynamic tax environment.   

We organize approximately 15 tax seminars each year, tax school, a summer happy hour, and a holiday party in December for Tax Professionals. We are here to serve you. The Silicon Valley Chapter of the Tax Executives Institute has 400+ members representing over 165 companies.  Our membership includes in-house tax professionals working in Silicon Valley and the surrounding San Francisco Bay Area.   Our members are business executives who are responsible for taxation matters on an administrative or policy-making level, or whose work is otherwise primarily concerned with the challenges of business taxation.
