John Schoenecker

John Schoenecker has a diverse work history that encompasses roles in government, legal, and private sectors. John served as the Government Relations and Regulatory Director for TaxBit and held positions at the United States Senate, U.S. House of Representatives, Tax Executives Institute, U.S. Department of Justice, Reed Smith LLP, and the Illinois Attorney General's Office. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated expertise in tax law, litigation, regulatory strategy, and government relations.

John Schoenecker completed their high school education at Gonzaga College High School in 1995. John went on to earn a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Journalism from Northwestern University in 1999. Later, they obtained a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law in 2004.
