Elena Ignatova

Elena Ignatova has a long and varied work experience. Elena began their career in 2006 as an IT Consultant at the Center for Institutional Development. In 2007 they joined the Metamorphosis Foundation as a Program Coordinator and later became a Project Coordinator and Program Assistant. In 2008 they worked as a Freelance Web Developer at ProInformatics and Editor of Global Voices in Macedonian at Global Voices Online. From 2015 to 2018, they worked at BlueSquare.org as a Product Lead, Product Owner, and Project Manager. In 2018, they joined Collibra as a Director of Software Engineering, Product Engineering Lead (Senior Engineering Manager), and Engineering Manager. In 2022, they became the Chief Technology Officer and VP of Software Engineering at Taxdoo.

Elena Ignatova obtained their MA in Communication and New Media from New York University Skopje in 2011. Prior to that, they graduated with an Engineer degree in Internet and Mobile Technologies from the Institute of Informatics at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics in 2008.
