Timo Ilola

Timo Ilola has a diverse work experience spanning various design and leadership roles. Timo recently worked at Taxfix as the VP Product Design. Prior to that, they were the Head of Product Design at Wolt, where they led a team of 28 and played a vital role in setting up UX research and content design practices. Timo also served as the Director of Consumer Experience at Starship Technologies, where they led product management and design efforts for the consumer side of the marketplace. In addition, they have experience as a Visiting Lecturer at Helsinki Design School, a Design Partner at Reaktor Ventures, and a Design Director at Reaktor. Timo also founded Ilola Design and co-founded the award-winning fashion magazine SSAW Magazine. Timo began their career as a Graphic Designer at Base Design.

Timo Ilola has an education history in graphic design. Timo obtained a Bachelor's degree (Ba) in Graphic Design from Taideteollinen korkeakoulu - Konstindustriella högskolan in 2007. Timo then pursued a Master's degree (MA) in Graphic Design from the same institution, graduating in 2013. Timo also participated in an exchange program at Elisava Escola de Disseny in 2004-2005. Prior to their studies at Taideteollinen korkeakoulu, Timo attended Evitech School of Design from 2002-2003 but did not complete their Medianomi degree.
