Jesse Nichols, UXMC

Jesse Nichols has a diverse work experience in the field of UX design. Starting in 2008, they worked as a Senior UX Designer at Happy Ninja Design, where they focused on creating responsive web pages and improving user experience through various techniques such as analytics review, user interviews, and surveys.

In 2011, Jesse joined Apple as a Family Room Specialist, where they provided customer service and support. Jesse then moved on to work as a Web Developer at Ocozzio in 2013, where they designed and updated web pages using modern UI and accessible design principles.

In 2015, Jesse joined Augusta Sportswear as a UI/UX Developer, where they created visually engaging and usable digital experiences. Jesse integrated dynamic user experience within WebSphere Commerce and Magento platforms.

From 2016 to 2017, Jesse worked at SIOS Technology Corp as a UI/UX Engineer, where they designed and developed touch-optimized and responsive user interfaces. Jesse employed various techniques such as competitor analysis, A/B testing, and user interviews to optimize the user experience.

Since 2017, Jesse has been working at TaxSlayer where they started as a UX Designer and progressed to be a Senior UX Designer and currently holds the position of UX Manager, Consumer. In this role, they champion inclusive design and establishes comprehensive UX strategies aligned with organizational objectives. Jesse utilizes data-driven design processes, including user research, analytics, and user feedback. Jesse also implements iterative testing of design concepts to continuously optimize user experiences.

Throughout their career, Jesse has consistently applied analytics, personas, journey mapping, wireframing, prototyping, and user testing to create data-driven designs and deliver effective, user-centric experiences.

Jesse Nichols received a high school diploma from North Augusta High School in the period between 2005 and 2008. After completing high school, Jesse is not currently enrolled in any specific degree or field of study at the University of South Carolina-Aiken. Additionally, Jesse obtained a UX Master Certification from the Nielsen Norman Group in May 2019. No further information about Jesse's educational background is available.
