Lance Story has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. In 2007, they worked as a Technical Services Engineer at Georgia Iron Works. In 2008, Lance worked as a Procurement Engineer at Shaw Group and then moved on to be a Lead Mechanical Engineer at Colt Worley Parsons. In 2011, they worked as a Senior Construction Engineer at Parsons Corporation. From 2011 to 2014, Lance took a sabbatical during which they were self-employed. In 2014, they worked as a Mechanical Procurement Engineer at URS Corporation/RCS Corporation. Lance then joined Bechtel Corporation as a Senior Mechanical Engineer from 2015 to 2016. In 2017, they became a Procurement Engineer at Sapere Consulting. Lance then joined TaxSlayer, LLC in 2018 and worked as a Fraud Analyst and Consumer Support Specialist. Currently, they are seeking their next opportunity in the fields of Procurement or Mechanical Engineering.
Lance Story obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Georgia Southern University from 1981 to 1985. In addition, they acquired the Engineering in Training (EIT) certification from the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying, granted by the State of Georgia, in April 1985.
