Lucy DeLaney

Lucy DeLaney has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Lucy began their career as a Tutor at Kumon North America, Inc. from June 2012 to August 2013. Lucy then worked as an Operations Associate at Belk from May 2014 to July 2014, where they focused on maintaining store organization and providing a positive customer experience. In December 2014 to January 2015, Lucy worked as a Web Developer at Bolding and Parks, LLC, where they redesigned the company's website and implemented a new layout system. From January 2015 to July 2015, they served as a Metadata Assistant at the Digital Library of Georgia, where they digitized artifacts and compiled metadata. Lucy then moved on to NueMD, where they worked as a Technical Writer from May 2016 to July 2018, creating and updating technical documents and user guides. Their most recent role is with TaxSlayer, LLC, where they started as a Content Designer in July 2018 and was later promoted to Lead Content Designer for TaxSlayer Pro in June 2021. In this role, they collaborate with various departments to maintain a consistent brand voice and tone across marketing campaigns and other media.

Lucy DeLaney attended Harrison High School from 2009 to 2013. Lucy then enrolled at The University of Georgia, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree from 2013 to 2017. During their time at university, Lucy studied English, Computer Science, and Interdisciplinary Writing. In addition to their formal education, they obtained certifications in Content Marketing: Blogs and Writing Headlines from LinkedIn in August 2018.
