Sam Cotton has a diverse work experience that spans over several companies. Sam started their career as a Hardware Engineer at Unisys in 1984 and worked there until 1989. Sam then joined Tom Wood Automotive as an Information Technology professional. In 1994, Sam became the Owner of Computer Place, Inc. where they worked until 1998. From 1998 to 2013, they served as the President of Network Essentials, Inc., specializing in Network Consulting. Currently, Sam holds the position of Director of IT at Taylor Bros. Construction Co., Inc.
Sam Cotton attended F.J. Reitz High School from 1977 to 1981, where they studied Electrical and Electronics Engineering. After high school, they pursued further education at Vincennes University, earning an Associate's degree in Electronics.
In terms of additional certifications, Sam obtained the Procore Certification: Procore Administrator from Procore Technologies in September 2021. Prior to that, they acquired the Procore Certified: Project Manager (Core Tools) certification from the same institution in August 2021. In 2014, Sam also received the WatchGuard Certified System Professional certification from WatchGuard Technologies.
