Derek Ellefsen

Derek Ellefsen is a seasoned construction professional with extensive experience in project management and supervision. Currently serving as a Senior Superintendent at Taylor Kohrs since November 2020, Derek previously held the position of Superintendent at the same company. Prior roles include Assistant Superintendent at Suffolk Construction and Project Officer at STV, where responsibilities involved managing day-to-day operations for construction projects, specifically as an Assistant Project Manager at NYU Langone Medical Center. Derek has also contributed as Vice Chairman of Schussmeisters Ski Club, Inc. and completed an internship in construction management at STV. Derek's career began in sales and customer service at Joe Fix It's. Derek earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University at Buffalo in 2015.
