Matt Stapleton

Matt Stapleton is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in structural design and project leadership. Currently serving as Director - Structures at TTW Engineers since June 2023, Matt previously held the position of Technical Director - Building Structures at AECOM from May 2018 to May 2023. In a key role as Station Structural Design Lead for the Link Alliance, Matt successfully oversaw a team delivering the structural design for the Mt Eden station precinct as part of Auckland's City Rail Link project. With a career spanning over two decades, Matt has worked for notable firms including WSP in Australia & New Zealand, Winward Structures, and John Mullen Partners, contributing to various high-rise and large-scale projects. Matt's educational background includes an M.B.A. from the Melbourne Business School, a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from the University of Melbourne, and a Graduate Diploma in Information Technology from RMIT University.
