Richard Kinloch

Richard Kinloch has a diverse range of work experience in the construction industry. Richard started their career as a Construction Project Engineer at Lagan Specialist Contracting Group, where they worked on various contracts and was responsible for supervising subcontractors and organizing labor and materials.

Richard then moved on to work at Keystone Group UK, where they held several positions. As the Product Development Manager, they managed the development of a unique product that won multiple industry awards. Richard later became the Divisional Sales & Specification Manager, leading a team that delivered significant sales revenue and won an award for performance. Lastly, they served as the Head of Technical Sales & Specification UK, creating and managing a new sales and specification function for the group.

Richard also worked as the National Commercial Manager UK at Smartroof Ltd, overseeing business development and providing input to technical and customer care teams.

Currently, Richard is working at Taylor Wimpey plc, where they have held various roles. Richard initially served as the Group Research & Development Manager, and subsequently became the Head of Research & Technical Innovation. In their current position as the Director of Research & Technical Innovation, they are responsible for identifying, leading, and managing innovation approaches to business challenges. Their key focus areas include regulatory change, sustainability, modern methods of construction, and continuous improvement.

Richard Kinloch attended Drumragh Integrated College from 1997 to 2005. Richard then went on to study Construction Engineering & Management at Ulster University from 2005 to 2009. Richard received the W.F Martin Award for being the highest performing Construction Management Graduate in 2009 from the University of Ulster.
