Isabela Menezes has a diverse work experience in various communication and media roles. Isabela currently works at tb.lx by Daimler Trucks & Buses as a Visual Content Creator Jr. and previously held the position of Social Media & Creative Design Trainee. Isabela also has experience as the founder of the Unshared Story project, a documentary project developed for Instagram that gives voice to migrants, refugees, and stateless individuals. Isabela has also worked as the Chief of Communication at the Regional Administration of the Southwest/Octogonal, where they managed a team and executed communication plans for the organization. Prior to that, they worked as a Public Information officer at ACNUR, the United Nations Refugee Agency, conducting interviews and providing coverage of events related to the agency. Isabela has also held roles such as an Analyst of Social Media at IMP Concursos, where they conducted interviews and created marketing materials, and as a Social Media volunteer at PNUD Brasil, where they produced content for social media and website. Isabela's earlier experiences include being the President of Agência Jr. Olfato Comunicação, a communication agency focused on assisting small businesses and local entrepreneurs, and working as a Reporter at Correio Braziliense, where they produced articles and covered events related to education and public service. Isabela also served as a Communications Intern at the Council of Architecture and Urbanism of Brazil and as a Press Officer at Afipea, the association representing the employees of the Institute of Applied Economic Research.

Isabela Menezes completed their Pós-graduação Lato Sensu in Ciências da Comunicação from ISCSP-ULisboa / Instituto Superior de Ciências Sociais e Políticas - Universidade de Lisboa between 2021 and 2023. Prior to that, they obtained a Bacharel em Comunicação Social with a specialization in Jornalismo from Universidade Católica de Brasília from 2014 to 2018. Isabela also participated in an Intercâmbio program focusing on Comunicação e Jornalismo at Universidade Lusófona - Centro Universitário Lisboa in 2017. Additionally, Isabela has obtained several certifications, including Journalism and Trauma and Journalism Fundamentals: Craft & Values from the Poynter Institute in 2020, Planejamento de Conteúdo para Mídias Sociais from Udemy Brasil in 2020, Protection Induction Programme from UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency in 2019, United Nations Course on Prevention of Harassment, Sexual Harassment and Abuse of Authority from the United Nations in 2019, SEO para jornalistas com Klaus Junginger from Comoequetalá in 2016, and Manipulações Fotográficas no Photoshop from Matriz Comunicação.
