Tinatin Burkadze

Tinatin Burkadze currently serves as the Head of Model Risk Management at TBC since January 2022. Prior experience includes a role as Acting Head at the Department of Macroeconomic Analysis and Fiscal Policy Planning and various specialist positions within the same department at the Ministry of Finance of Georgia from September 2018 to December 2021. Tinatin worked closely with an IMF team on a DSGE model for policy analysis, focusing on updating calibrations, designing simulation scenarios, and forecasting macroeconomic indicators. Additionally, Tinatin has experience in automating analytical reports using Python and conducting empirical analyses of economic dynamics. Academic credentials include a Master’s degree in Econometrics and Quantitative Economics from Tbilisi State University and an exchange semester at Université de Rennes I, complemented by a Bachelor’s degree in the same field from Tbilisi State University and another exchange semester at European-University Viadrina.
