Melissa Withers

Melissa Withers is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in venture capital, startup acceleration, and communications. Currently serving as a Member at Gaingels and TBD Angels, Withers is also a Managing Partner and Co-Founder of RevUp Capital, where leadership has driven investment in over 50 early-stage B2B and B2C companies. Previous roles include Board Member positions at Statera and Tozuda, Inc., as well as mentorship at Techstars Boston. Withers co-founded and served as Executive Director of the Business Innovation Factory and held key communications roles at the Rhode Island Economic Development Corporation and Whitehead Institute. Academic credentials include an MA in Technical/Science Communications from Northeastern University and a BA in English Literature from Rhode Island College.
