Alec Gongaware

Alec Gongaware is a Process Safety Engineer at TC Energy since July 2023, bringing extensive experience in chemical engineering and process improvement. Previously, as a Process Engineer at Arkema from August 2020 to July 2023, Alec led initiatives for catalyst loading, flare control to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and wastewater treatment projects, achieving significant cost savings. Alec's background includes roles as an Undergraduate Researcher in biomaterials and internships in petroleum quality evaluation, manufacturing, and fermentation engineering. Alec holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Kentucky, earned in 2020.
