Scott N Smith serves as the Manager of Cogeneration and Storage Power & Energy Solutions at TC Energy since September 2022. In this role, Scott provides leadership to enhance team performance focused on health, safety, compliance, and operational excellence, along with managing risks and resources effectively. Prior to this, Scott held various positions at Suncor Energy, including Area Manager for Utilities Operations and Shift Supervisor, contributing significantly to project design, regulatory compliance, operational planning, and safety management. Scott's career also includes roles at Encana Corporation as Shift Supervisor and at the City of Medicine Hat as a Control Room Operator, specializing in combined cycle power generation. Academically, Scott holds multiple degrees in Power Engineering and Safety and Environmental Technology from Medicine Hat College and the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology.
