Cathy Carrabre, PT, OCS, SCS, CIMT, CSCS, GTS, attended the University of Manitoba, where she graduated from the Bachelor of Medical Rehabilitation in Physical Therapy (BMR-PT) program in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. She is Board Certified and has practiced in the Waconia area since 1994. Cathy is also an Orthopedic Certified Specialist (OCS), Sports Clinical Specialists (SCS) and is Certified in Graston, Blood Flow Restriction and Dry Needling. Her practice focuses primarily on orthopedic and sports medicine conditions. Her scope of practice ranges from rotator cuff and ACL rehab to total joint replacements. She has consulted extensively with leaders in the orthopedic community to efficiently streamline patient care for the best practice outcomes through the development and implementation of rehabilitation protocols in the service area. She regularly attends the International Olympic Committee conferences on Injury Prevention and the Federation International Sports Medicine (FIMS) conferences to deliver the global perspective in the treatment of her patient population. She is married to a family Physician who works in the Waconia area. They have four children that keep them immersed in the community. As a former member of the Canadian National Speedskating Team, she attended the Canadian Olympic selection Trials for the 1984 Olympic Games and continues to pursue recreational skating. She also skis, paddleboards and snowmobiles with her family.
