Jenifer Kooiman

Jenifer Kooiman, ELS, is a seasoned freelance copyeditor and proofreader with extensive experience in various industries, including social sciences, humanities, health/medicine, and marketing/branding. Since May 2005, Jenifer Kooiman Editing has provided tailored editing services, while also proofreading for TCS World Travel and working as a freelance copyeditor for Oxford University Press on numerous medical journals. Previous roles include proofreading for SAGE Publications and DVx, Inc., as well as serving as a teaching assistant at the University of Washington. Jenifer Kooiman’s background also includes experience in small business development with the Peace Corps and managing the Washington Idaho Symphony, along with an educational foundation in Applied Music and Public Relations from the University of Idaho, a PGDip in Music from Newcastle University, and a Certificate in Editing from the University of Washington.
