Tim Groenwals

Tim Groenwals is a seasoned cybersecurity leader with extensive experience in IT strategy and digital transformation. Currently serving as the Lead of the cybersecurity advisory practice at Tata Consultancy Services and a member of the Board of Advisors at DP-Institute.eu, Tim has a robust history of guiding organizations in cybersecurity frameworks and strategies. Previously, Tim held various pivotal roles at NMBS, including Head of IT Strategy and CISO, overseeing critical IT and security initiatives, as well as leading significant programs such as SPRITE. Tim's background also includes executive positions at the European Union Agency for Network and Information Security (ENISA) and IBM, coupled with an entrepreneurial history in establishing successful IT consultancy firms. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Antwerp and multiple certifications in enterprise IT governance and information security.
