Chuck Davis

Chuck Davis is a Venture Partner at TCV. Prior to joining TCV, they were the Vice President of Finance and Accounting at MSC.Software Corporation from January 2001 to February 2005. Chuck was responsible for all finance and accounting functions for the global software and services firm with annual revenues in excess of $275 million and 1,400 employees. Specific responsibilities included SEC reporting and compliance, accounting processes and procedures, financial systems, budgeting and forecasting, acquisition due diligence and integration, tax planning and compliance, audit coordination and Internal Audit. Chuck directed MSC’s global finance organization consisting of over 100 professional staff located in 22 countries.

From January 2005 to December 2007, they were the Regional Controller responsible for managing all financial functions for the Southern California division of First American Title & Escrow. Chuck reported directly to the Division President.

Prior to their work at MSC.Software Corporation and First American Corporation, they were a partner at BDO Seidman LLP from January 1990 to December 1994 and Laventhol and Horwath from January 1981 to December 1990.

Chuck Davis has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from UCLA Anderson School of Management and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Accounting from California State University, Northridge. Chuck also has certification from the California State Board of Accountancy in C.P.A.

Chuck Davis reports to Jay Hoag, Founding General Partner. They are on a team with Brian Labrunda - Principal, Senior Controller, Joseph Brucchieri - Chief Compliance Officer, and Nathan Sanders - General Partner.
