David Zhang

David Zhang is a Partner at TCV. Prior to joining TCV, David served as an Executive Director at Goldman Sachs in the Investment Banking Division where they worked on various mergers and acquisitions and capital markets transactions. David also has experience as an entrepreneur, having founded propmatch.com, a real estate portal that provided residential and commercial listings services.

David Zhang completed a BSc in Economics at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and a BBA in Finance and Economics at the University of Notre Dame.

They work with Patrick Morrison - Head of Portfolio Talent, Bob Burke - Venture Partner, and Jake Reynolds - General Partner. David Zhang reports to Jay Hoag, Founding General Partner.
